Still Here and Preparing for Tuesday!

After several times and days trying to dig up old files and folders, I decided it best to begin fresh since “Habeeb” at 1 and 1.com deleted my files and databases. Since that time I have chosen to redesign some features and site I am currently using.

Before I begin, let me encourage you to bear with me as family and friends are at my home and I am limited in my time to place everything back the way it was. I will get to more in a few weeks, but Tuesday is a special day for me.  Here are the changes and even more information about Tuesday.

This website will continue to be my online preaching blog of random thoughts form a random mind. I hope you will take a moment and add this to your feed reader, grab your seat belt, keep your arms and legs inside the car and prepare for the random ride of nothingness, blended with silliness which proceeds to occupy my mind on a daily basis.

The Preacher’s Pen Forum (http://forum.preacherspen.org) has not taken off like I first thought it would, but I will spend more time promoting the forum this year than I have in the past month. I want this site to be a outlet and a knowledge base for a variety of issues and encouraging thoughts. Take time to visit this forum, sign-up and let’s spend time growing together.

The Preaching Journal (http://www.preachingjournal.com) will contain sermons, articles, Bible classes, PowerPoints and a variety of other information for anyone teaching and proclaiming God’s word, but especially for preachers. A Long Story

Let me begin by thanking those of you who have emailed regarding the Preacher’s Pen blog. I appreciate your thoughts and questions. To make a very long story very short, all the databases containing all the information of the past three years is gone. By gone I mean gone….never to return….gone…gone to the pits of the dreadful Internet graveyard never to be awakened….just gone.

Recently I upgraded webhosting packages to gain more features using the same company, but when the package got upgraded, some incompetent person deleted the databases. When I called to ask them what was going on they told me the problem would be fixed in 24 hours….well, that was ten days ago!

Finally, they told me every database had been lost and they were unable to be recovered. So, everything is gone.

Now I fulfilled my end of the bargain, but they lost the information through one click of a button and never restoring what was supposed to be restored.

So anyway, we will be back.

After the first of the year, I plan on offering each reader more features than I have in the past, but I have lost all of those at this time. By the first of the year, I should have the majority of things back online…so please stay tuned.
