Monday Morning Blues and Book Giveaway

The weather in South Carolina has turned cold and has sent people running for their down-insulated coats. The temperatures at night dip into the low 30′s. I know this may sound shocking for those buried under snow this time of year, but remember it is South Carolina. Two weeks ago, I stood in several inches of snow in the mountains of West Virginia. It was the first snowfall I had seen in two years and it was great!

With that thought in mind, here is one of my favorite winter commercials.

 

 Book Give-away

As mentioned in a previous post, I have decided to have another book give-away! I have debated on how to do this over the course of the past week and I came up with the solution.

The book I have decided to give-away a copy of “Through the Bible in One Year: A 52-Lesson introduction to the 66 books of the Bible” by Alan B. Stringfellow.

Here are the rules to enter the giveaway:

  1. Post a comment on this blog post.
  2. Ask two of your friends to make a comment on this blog post. When they enter a comment, they are automatically registered as well. (They will need to say that you sent them here.)
  3. It will be a random drawing from my hat.
  4. I will post the winner on Friday.

    My mother is begging me to sign this blog as she really wants the book!  So, I am one of her friends that has come to place my comment here.  John Dobbs didn’t ask me so I guess I am not one of his friends.  He ought to be disqualified since he got the last book : ) LOL…
