My Christmas Prayer
My prayer is for those without; for theirs may be a lonely road. Watching others being physically blessed may yield unending grief upon their shoulders, but I pray their eyes are cast on the one who bestowed the greatest blessing, the Father of light and the blessing of Jesus.
My prayer is for those who will be physically alone, they know someone cares for them, yet they struggle with finding their place on a joyous Christmas day. I pray their hearts find refuge and light in the open arms of a Loving Father…a Father who runs to hold them.
May prayer is for those having lost jobs, income and hope. This Christmas may not be as physically attractive as before; but I pray the Savior of the world is more attractive than ever.
My prayer for the poor, downtrodden and hopeless, is for the Christians of the world to hold them, love them and provide for them, not in an Earthly name, but in the heavenly name of the Father.
My prayer is for you; that you might put away the cares of the world and the dross of the world and instead hold close to your heart the child in the cradle who became the man on the cross. May His life be as strong now as it has ever been and may His life be yours!
