Happy New Year! (and other stuff)
First, Happy New Year and man well wishes from the Preacher’s Pen!
The new year came with a little more opportunity than last year. I began the year with family and friends while drinking my first carbonated beverage in 365 days. On December 31st, 2008, I decided not to have any Coke, Pepsi or carbonated beverage for an entire year. There was not a fascinating reason involved, I just wanted to to do it and I did it! So, as soon as the clock struck 12:00am I grabbed a can of Coke and watched the neighbors set off some fireworks.
I was pretty excited to check the website last night to find out that over 200,000 unique visitors have been to the Preacher’s Pen this year! The site has grown by leaps and bounds of the past four years and I am hoping the site continues to grow and the opportunities abound each day. Below is a series of photographs showing the growth of the site.
Before you scroll down to the photos, let me thank each of you for the support and prayers you have provided over the past year. Your encouragement has provided some excellent times for my family and I. My family has enjoyed seeing the growth of the Preacher’s Pen as they have supported each effort. There are some interesting things going to happen on the Preacher’s Pen this year. Throughout the year I will make them known to you and provide you various opportunities to grow as a Christian, or if you have not found Christ, to become family to the Savior!
