Where Will You be Today?
It’s Sunday, my favorite day of the week. Sunday during vacation brings a different time for me. During vacations, I am able to put away some of the normal activity and allow myself a more relaxed state of mind, but I never find myself to far from a speaking opportunity. While some preacher’s relish in the opportunity to sit an listen to someone else, I relish in the moment of being able to speak. I know there is much to be said about sitting and being fed every so often, but I still get those chances. I enjoy being fed knowledge since the majority of my time I am asked to feed others.
Where will you be today? Today for me is fun, exciting and humbling. I will stand before a congregation filled with followers of Jesus; some will be there because they “have to be”, some will be there because they need to be and others will be there because they desire to be. Whatever the case, whoever the person, I am humbled to get the opportunity to stand before them and share powerful words of an eternal God, His only Son, the helping Spirit and the powerfully planned church.
