Bible Study Series 2023 – 2 Peter 1 – Day #4

Today is Day #4 of our study into 2 Peter 1.

The apostle Peter is encouraging them to grow. He wants them to add to the faith, then to continue to grow so they will never be unfruitful in their life. Just as Peter reminds his readers, those reminders are also to us. May we grow stronger in our faith and actions as we live.

2 Peter is a letter to the early church reminding them of their growth and their blessings.

This is Day #1 of our brief study on 2 Peter 1. As we go through this study, we will highlight the words of the famous apostle to his readers. He will remind them and encourage them to continue their walk, but grow stronger in their journey. Just as Peter reminds his readers, those reminders are also to us. May we grow stronger in our faith and actions as we live.

As we dig further into Colossians 3, we see Paul reminding and encouraging Christians to keep pressing forward in their new life. This new life is going to influence their marriages, parenting skills, and work environment. Paul knows they are different now, and he keeps reminding them to keep getting better.

This week, February 6 – 10, 2023, we will discuss Ephesians 2. As Paul writes to the Ephesians church, he is reminding them of their life in Christ. This life was not one they stumbled across, but one they chose.

God made them alive together with Christ and, as a result, they have new life to enjoy and share with others.
