Bible Study Series 2023 – 2 Peter 1 – Day #3

Today is Day #23 of our study into 2 Peter 1.

2 Peter is a letter to the early church reminding them of their growth and their blessings.

In Day #3, we will examine what Peter says about adding, or supplementing, to your faith. Peter knows about spiritual growth as he grew when he was walking with Jesus.

Now, through inspiration, he shares the words about what to add to your faith so his readers can grow. Just as Peter reminds his readers, those reminders are also to us. May we grow stronger in our faith and actions as we live.

Today's lesson digs deeper into Matthew 26, and the quick trial of Jesus as Peter follows so close. There are passages sometimes we forget and today we seek to highlight them.

Matthew 26 follows Jesus from Simon the Leper's house, to the Passover celebration, to His betrayal. Throughout this week, January 30th - February 3rd, we will discuss Matthew 26. This chapter is rich in meaning for Christians today.

To follow the footsteps of Jesus as He nears the cross, is a humbling scene. Follow us as we discuss Matthew 26 this week.
