This week’s Bible Class is on the “chapter of parables”; Luke 15. Today, we discuss, The Lost Coin.

As Luke shares the word of God, this chapter contains three parables of Jesus: the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son (the prodigal son). There is much to discuss in each of these parables. Try to read through Luke 15 each day and see how you grow in your Bible knowledge.

This week’s Bible Class is on the “chapter of parables”; Luke 15. Today, we discuss the first seven verses. The scene is important to each parable. So, we spend a few moments on the scene before moving to the Parable of the Lost Sheep.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep shows the character of the Shepherd and the value of each sheep in the flock. Join us as we discuss how this applies to us.

Try to read through Luke 15 each day and see how you grow in your Bible knowledge.

In this episode of Wednesday in the Word on the Preacher’s Pen, we discuss the parable of the sower found in Matthew 13.

The Parable of the Sower is unique because many will focus only on the seed, but today, let us turn our attention to the sower. Here are a few things to remember from the Parable of the Sower:

#1 – The Sower knew his responsibility.

#2 – The Sower had the right seed.

#3 – The Sower had his field.

#4 – The Sower never stopped sowing.
