31 Days with Jesus
John 21:1-25 tells a touching story of Jesus meeting His disciples by the Sea of Galilee after His resurrection. The disciples, uncertain and returning to their old routines, spent a long night fishing with no success. At dawn, Jesus stood on the shore, unrecognized at first, and called out, “Cast your net on the right side.” The result? An overwhelming catch—an echo of an earlier miracle and a reminder of His presence and provision.

After breakfast, Jesus took Peter aside and asked three times, “Do you love me?” Each time Peter answered yes, Jesus responded, “Feed my sheep.” In this gentle conversation, Jesus restored Peter after his denial, reaffirmed his calling, and entrusted him with new purpose.

This story is a beautiful reminder that Jesus meets us in our everyday moments—especially when we feel lost, weary, or unworthy. He offers forgiveness, renewal, and direction, not based on our failures, but on His love and grace. When we feel like giving up, Jesus invites us to the table, restores our hope, and sends us out to make a difference.

No matter where you are or what you’ve done, Jesus is ready to meet you, restore you, and give you purpose. Your story isn’t over—He still has work for you to do.

Four Points to Remember:
  • Jesus meets us where we are, offering restoration and a fresh start.
  • Our failures don’t disqualify us—Jesus’ grace is greater than our mistakes.
  • When we love Jesus, we’re called to serve and care for others.
  • Every day is an opportunity to accept Jesus’ forgiveness and walk in renewed purpose.
