31 Days with Jesus
Acts 1:1-11 tells the inspiring story of Jesus’ ascension. After rising from the dead, Jesus spent forty days with His disciples, teaching them about God’s kingdom and preparing them for what was next. Then, as they watched, He was taken up into heaven—a powerful reminder that His earthly mission was complete, but their calling was just beginning.

Before ascending, Jesus gave His followers a promise and a purpose: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” He didn’t leave them alone or unprepared. Instead, He sent the Holy Spirit to empower, guide, and comfort them as they carried His message to the world.

The ascension isn’t just about Jesus leaving; it’s about us stepping into our calling. We are invited to live with purpose, courage, and hope, knowing that God’s Spirit is with us. Our faith isn’t meant to be private or passive—it’s a mission to share the good news, serve others, and make a difference wherever we go.

As you finish this journey through 31 days with Jesus, remember that your story continues. You are empowered, equipped, and sent out to live boldly for Christ.

Four Points to Remember:
  • Jesus’ ascension marks the beginning of our mission to share His love with the world.
  • We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live with purpose and courage.
  • Our faith is active—God calls us to be witnesses and make a difference.
  • The story doesn’t end here; every day is a new opportunity to walk with Jesus and impact others.
